Hi i have a question, i'm riding a brompton 6spd
ReplyDeletei am thinking of upgrading the stock chain ring and crank, which chain ring should i change to, the 54T or 58T and is litepro a good brand for the chain ring and crank?
Litepro is ok for single chain ring crankset. As for the size, it depends on what speed you want to achieve. For me, 44T front chain ring is sufficient, except for long down slopes.
DeleteHi, any other tweakings on the brompton? I am a Brompton user too and I would like some inspiration. Thanks for your informative and interesting posts!
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year Steve, This doesn't relate to the Brompton but have you seen any carbon fiber handleposts for a Dahon yet? I am looking to lighten mine. Thanks..and congratulations on your new Brompton..
ReplyDeleteI have not seen any carbon handleposts for a Dahon. Probably difficult to design and manufacture as there are many areas near the clamp and joint area where using aluminium is better.
